There are two types of Sharesy bookings:
- One off bookings
- Regular bookings
One off bookings:
- Once a booker has found a venue, they will select and reserve their dates and times and proceed to make the payment
- The booking is not yet confirmed yet and the hirer will receive this message via email
- The venue will then receive the email and decide whether to confirm or decline the booking (which is also visible on the venue's Sharesy dashboard)
- If the venue confirms the booking, the booker will receive a confirmation email of this and they can start planning their event!
- If the venue declined the booking then upon cancellation, we will issue the refund which takes 3 - 5 working days (depending on their bank)
- Upon checking out, the booker will be asked if they want to arrange a viewing. If the booker says yes then an automated email will be sent to the venue to coordinate the viewing availability.
Regular bookings:
- Our automated booking system will book in the regular hirer's sessions as per their pre-determined booking frequency of either monthly, termly or all year round.
- Before the sessions are booked in, we will send the recurring hirers an email to ask them to confirm their dates, if needed, prior to booking them in which they can also view on their Sharesy dashboard.
- An invoice will be issued upon the booked date with 7 day payment terms (unless there are any bespoke pre-agreed terms agreed between the venue, the hirer and Sharesy)
- Please note that if a regular hirer is set up on the automatic booking system, future sessions are always booked in on the Sharesy calendar in perpetuity so that the slots are reserved for the regular hirers.
