• Finding a venue for your event

  We've designed Sharesy to help you find and book a venue instantly online. To start your search, simply visit our search page:

  To help narrow your search, enter the preferred date for your event, along with the postcode or area you're interested in. We'll only show you venues which match your criteria, helping you find the perfect venue for your event.

  There are other helpful ways to narrow your search further:

  • Use the filters along the top e.g. kids parties, halls with outdoor space
  • Use the sort feature to sort the list based on distance, price or capacity
  • Use the map to zoom in on a specific area

  If you are interested in a recurring or block booking, please complete the form on this page and our expert team will get to work matching you with the perfect venue for your sessions.

• I made a booking but now I need to cancel it, what should I do?

  Sharesy's cancellation policy is as follows. Please note, our venues are sometimes able to make exceptions and provide flexibility on refunds where possible.

  • Cancellations made over 2 weeks in advance of event date will receive a full refund
  • Bookings made within 2 weeks of the event will have a 48 hour grace period from the time of booking to cancel and receive a full refund
  • All other cancellations will receive no refund
  • At a small number of venues, there are bespoke cancellation policies which will be displayed at checkout

  If you'd like to cancel your booking, please follow these instructions:

  • Locate the booking confirmation email from help@sharesy.com
  • Find and click on the "Cancel" button (this will also show your free cancellation window/date)
  • Add an explanation for the cancellation
  • Click to initiate the cancellation

• I want to make a recurring booking, can you help?

  We'd be delighted to help you find a venue for your recurring sessions.

  We're experts at helping people find venues for everything from kids activities to community groups. Simply let us know what you're looking for and we'll get to work matching you with the perfect spaces for your sessions.

• I'm interested in partnering with Sharesy - how can I get my venue listed?

  It's simple, check out our "Become a Host" page and click "Apply now" with a few details about you and the venue.

  Once we've received your enquiry, it usually only takes a short call to explain the benefits and run through a quick demo. There's no aggressive sales pitches, so no pressure if it isn't the right fit for you.

• How do I update my opening hours or standard availability?

  Updating your opening hours will change your standard operating hours.

  If you are using the new Sharesy Dashboard go to the "Opening Hours" page and select the space you want to change/update.

  • Use the sliding green buttons to open and close on a specific day
  • Set the open and close times for each day using the dropdown items
  • Use the "Add split hours" function if you are closed for specific hours during the day e.g. open from 9am to noon and then open from 1pm to 6pm

  If you'd like to change availability on a specific date, you can use the "Override hours" controls at the bottom of the Opening Hours page. Simply click on the relevant date and set specific open/close times for that day.
