Sharesy uses Stripe Payments UK Limited to take payments and process venue payouts. Stripe is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK.
In order to set up your venue for payouts, please follow the below:
1. Log into your Sharesy account here: https://www.sharesy.com/earnings
2. Click ''Register for Payouts'' as below:
3. You will be taken to Stripe where you can create an account and register your details
Some handy tips for setting up with Stripe:
- You’ll need to verify your personal identity - a photo of your driver's licence is usually easiest
- The business’s identity will need to be verified too - for best results use a bank statement or utility bill which matches the company name and address that you have added on Stripe.
There are three business types you will need to choose from:
- Individual / Sole Trader
- Company
- Non-profit
Both Company and Non-profit require you to enter a Companies House Registration Number (CRN). If you do not have a Companies House Registration Number (CRN) we recommend you select Individual / Sole Trader, DO NOT select Company or Non-profit.
Once the account has been set up, no further technical integration will be required, you will have full visibility of your payout history and all monthly payouts will be made directly into your account.
